Home Support Services, LLC is a state-registered, non-medical Personal Care Assistance (PCA) agency.  Our company was established in 2002 for the sole purpose of providing the basic services that would enable seniors to remain independent and in their own homes for as long as possible.  As our motto states, we want to be "your resource for independent living".

We are authorized by the State of Maine, Veterans' Administration and most insurance companies to deliver services to their members.  Our Homemaker, PCA and HelpLine® Medical Alarm services combine to offer a comprehensive approach in helping to ensure our clients' continued independence.

Employees of Home Support Services undergo extensive background checks.  Personal Care Assistants must have successfully completed a state-recognized PCA course prior to being assigned to clients.  Additionally, all Team members are bonded and covered by workers' compensation and liability insurance.

Our medical alarm service is provided by CRC Cooperatives.  CRC is a nationwide, 24/7 central monitoring station.  Founded in 1992, CRC has steadily increased in the size and scope of its operation with offices in Austin, Minnesota and Dunlap, Tennessee. 

About Us

CRC's Central Station Operators (CSOs) are certified through the Security Industry Association (SIA) training and development program and CRC has received UL certification for architectural and physical features, emergency power, computer hardware and software, as well as operator training.

CRC offers superior two-way voice monitoring services for medical alert monitoring programs. CRC's Central Station, a member of the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA), has achieved Five Diamond Certification (a status reached by fewer than 5% of Central Stations).
